Secret Sisters

A women’s group built around something simple and quietly powerful: praying for one another. Here’s how it works. At our first meeting, every woman fills out a small info sheet — birthday, anniversary, family, anything she’d like the others to know. The sheets get folded up, and we each pick one. The name on your sheet is your secret sister: the one woman you’ll quietly pray for, support, and encourage in the months ahead. She won’t know it’s you. Only the coordinator will. That’s part of the beauty of it. Through the season, you can send words of encouragement, drop a card in the mail, or simply hold her in prayer when something from her sheet comes to mind. If a more urgent need ever arises, the coordinator can quietly pass it along while keeping your identity under wraps. In December, we gather, exchange a small gift, and the secret is finally revealed. Then we begin again. It’s a gentle commitment — no scripts, no schedule. Just steady prayer for one woman who’s quietly doing the same for you. Format: Monthly gatherings — with most communication happening between meetings, by email or quietly behind the scenes.
