Questions

Frequently Asked Questions.

While we cannot give you an exact number, we can tell you that our waitlist is quite extensive. We have over 600 applications currently. Make sure to keep your profile active and up to date, and when a spot does become available, we will contact you.

No, you do not. We accept children of all different religions and faith backgrounds. Please note that we do incorporate Christian stories and Bible verses into our planning and pray before lunch.

We are closed on all statutory holidays and from December 24 to January 1. We also close for two staff PD days each year, always Easter Monday and the Friday before the Labour Day weekend. Yes, you still pay for statutory holidays if your child is scheduled to attend that day. You are not charged for the Christmas holidays or the staff PD days.

Our lunch is catered by Little Ones Lunches. We have had many different allergies and they have yet to be unable to accommodate them. It is not uncommon for children to be picky eaters. We have lots of different types of snacks, and we find that children will eat if they see their friends eating. “Monkey see, monkey do,” as the saying goes.

Infants are one teacher to three children. Toddlers are one teacher to five children. Preschool is one teacher to eight children.

Our staff are all qualified professionals. They must have first aid training, a valid Vulnerable Sector police check and their immunizations up to date. Our staff are also loving, kind and creative individuals who make the children feel special and excited to come back day after day.
